Yaye Station, Sidama - Ethiopia, Natural

Our second run of Ethiopia releases this season comprises a cracking lineup of anaerobic naturals and a few classy washed lots. For those of you who were all over last year's Sidama and Aricha, the natural lots are what you have been waiting for. Intensely perfumed, complex fruits, with a sweet vibrant mouthfeel. The washed lots reflect the high quality clean florality we expect from an exceptional origin like Ethiopia. Delicate, tea-like goodness. 

A classic natural Ethiopian this Yaye Station special prep is a berry bomb. We are tasting blueberry, strawberry, apricot juice and blackberry. Being a special prep lot this coffee has a high sweetness and clean body. This is a more traditional natural coffee that has been handled excellently. You can expect a balance of rich sweetness and clarity without some of the heady funk you can get from the anaerobic fermentations.
