This anaerobic natural lot comes from Worka Hurea in Gedeb, Yirgacheffe, a high-altitude growing region known for producing some of Ethiopia’s most expressive coffees. Coffee here is grown predominantly by smallholder farmers, with ripe cherries brought to the local washing station for processing.
This is an exceptionally sweet coffee with a rich, jammy mouthfeel and loads of fruit. We’re getting blueberry, apricot and a boozy body from the anaerobic process.
Despite the processing, it remains impressively clean and balanced. If you love that classic fruit-forward “Blueberry Bomb Eth” style, this is definitely one to check out.
