The Colombia Geisha Box Set brings together two exceptional Geishas that sit at opposite ends of the processing spectrum, offering a rare chance to taste how dramatically method can influence flavour. La Divisa is an extended-ferment anaerobic natural from Sebastian Gomez, grown high in the mountains of Quindío at 1700 masl. This coffee explodes with passionfruit, pineapple and jammy tropical intensity, backed by high sweetness and a long, lingering finish. It’s loud, juicy and expressive, the kind of fruit-forward Geisha that has become a favourite across our Brisbane cafés.
Jardines del Eden, by contrast, shows the beauty of restraint. This washed Yellow Geisha from Felipe and Carlos Arcila’s biodynamic project is clean, elegant and incredibly refined, with delicate orange blossom florals, bright red apple acidity and ripe peach sweetness. Together, these coffees highlight not only the diversity within the Geisha varietal but also the skill of two highly regarded farms pushing quality in completely different directions. Being able to showcase both profiles at this level makes this box set a genuinely exciting and rare release.
