Finca El Venado - Costa Rica

Roaster Notes: 

A mild coffee with a silky smooth, big body. Expect red fruits like cherry, red apple, a little orange citrus zest alongside chocolate and burnt sugar. 

Cerro San Luis Micromill is a family business run by two siblings Alexander and Magali Delgado and their spouses, who own and operate both farms and a small mill in Grecia, in the West Valley. Sl-28 is a Kenyan varietal, this modern and younger tree stock replaced the older Trees on the Delgado' farms about a decade ago. This lot has been processed as a white honey, meaning the sticky outer layer of the bean is still present. But mostly removed to add a little sweetness without the funk black and red honey typically adds.
